Buene House of Children (BHC) is a home where vulnerable and orphaned children find safety, family, and the chance to grow. Founded in March 2021 in Kabare (South Kivu, DRC), BHC provides daily care: shelter, food, schooling, healthcare, and spiritual support, so every child can heal and thrive.
BHC offers housing for 21 children; nutrition with three meals daily; healthcare via enrollment in the Kavumu health mutual and at-home care by a partner nurse when needed; education with 16 school-age children enrolled at Complexe Scolaire Les Génies de Kavumu; and daily hygiene routines.
